Standing proudly in the heart of Stoke Village since the late 1930s, The Prince Albert has been bringing people together over a good drink for generations. Built between 1936 and 1938 in a distinctive Neo-Tudor style, this historic pub entered a new chapter in April 2025 when it was taken on by Rob, Laura and Tim. Since then, we've lovingly breathed new life into the place whilst keeping all the character that makes it special. Today, you'll find a carefully chosen selection of local beers, wines and spirits, plenty of friendly faces, and a warm welcome whether you're popping in for a quick pint or accidentally staying all evening.

Whether you're a seasoned performer, an aspiring musician, or simply someone who appreciates live music and a pint, The Prince’s Platform open mic is your stage. Kicking off from 7:30pm every Wednesday, expect brilliant local talent, the occasional surprise, and a warm welcome every time.

Your pub, your way. From milestone birthdays and engagement parties to corporate events and everything in between, hire The Prince Albert exclusively and make yourself at home. We'll provide the venue, the drinks and the atmosphere... you bring the reason to celebrate!

Great beer deserves great food, which is why local favourites Kai & Braai roll up every Thursday and Friday from 6pm. Serving up seriously tasty street food with plenty of flame, flavour and flair, they're the perfect excuse to stay for just one more drink.
