The Prince Albert was constructed around 1936–1938 in a Neo-Tudor style by the Star Brewery, replacing older structures on the site.
Originally, the building comprised five separate rooms, each with distinct features such as panelled walls, fireplaces, and bar counters. These interiors reflect early 20th-century pub design.
In April 2025 The Prince Albert was acquired by local established Publican's, Rob Wallis, Laura Jackson & Tim Skinner.
In collaboration with the landlords, the team have lovingly reimagined this charming Public House which is now serving local beers, wines & spirits to the people of Stoke Village & beyond.
